June 23, 2004 Los Tigres were honored with the philanthropists of the year award from the New American Alliance for their philanthropic and Foundation work. The award was presented to them in Puerto Rico on June 23, 2004 at the Ritz Carlton in San Juan. The New American Alliance is an influential group made up of business, corporate and community leaders from the Latino community. January 6, 2004 Los Tigres Del Norte Foundation donated $30,000 to two Bay Area cultural organizations: Los Cenzontles Mexican Art Center was presented with a grant for $25,000 to support its work in promoting Latino culture in the San Pablo, California area. The Mexican Heritage Corporation in San Jose was presented with a grant for $5,000 in support of its cultural center that serves as a forum and resource for the local community in celebration of California's rich Mexican and Latino cultural heritage.

August 21, 2003 Recognizing the importance of honoring creative talent, Grammy award winning artists Los Tigres Del Norte, announced the first, second and third place winners of the Los Tigres Del Norte Foundation (LTDNF) logo design competition prior to their concert at the Santa Fe Springs Town Center Hall.
