Music producer Dwayne Ulloa of AKA
Productions is the Executive
Director of the Los
Tigres del Norte Foundation (LTDN)
– a non-profit organization created by the legendary recording group
that supports programs fostering the instruction and preservation of traditional Latino music and fine arts in the United States.
Ulloa was selected for the position
based on his unique combination of music industry experience and hunger
for preserving Latino culture. He plans to move the Foundation forward
in fulfilling its mission of preserving and promoting traditional Latino
musical genres.
In this position, Ulloa serves as the
LTDN Foundation’s spokesperson and has been responsible for many
successful community outreach projects, fund raising events, and
implementation of special programs.
Ulloa is president of
AKA Productions, a special event management company based in Upland,
Calif. For AKA, Ulloa has produced a number of top-billing live
performance events around the globe. A long time resident of the Inland
Empire, he attended Mount San Antonio College where he served as a
student body president and latter attended Claremont McKenna College.
