Los Tigres Del Norte have been the recipient of countless awards.  In addition to appearing in more than 20 movies, the band has seven RIAA gold albums, 11 Grammy nominations, a Grammy for best album in 1988 ("Gracias America Sin Fronteras"), a Latin Grammy in 2000, Premio Los Nuestro's "Lifetime Achievement Award" and they are the first Mexican group to perform live at the American Music Awards in 1998. Los Tigres is also the first Mexican International recording act to perform for the US Forces in Japan (1999), Germany and Italy (2000).  Los Tigres has recorded over 50 albums, selling over 30 million throughout their career.  They continue to sell out concert venues throughout the United States, Mexico, and Central and South America.
