Los Tigres Del Norte became
the first Mexican-Regional recording artist to perform at the prestigious
Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. In conjunction with the performance, a
pre-event reception was hosted by The National Council of La Raza (NCLR), in
benefit of the Los Tigres Del Norte Foundation sponsored by Coca-Cola,
Universal Music Group & Fonovisa Records.

The Los Tigres Del Norte
Foundation hosted a VIP reception in conjunction with the Mexican Heritage
Corporation in San Jose, California to celebrate the opening of "Corridos
Sin Fronteras." "Corridos Sin Fronteras" is a traveling exhibition by the
Smithsonian Institution highlighting the corrido as a unique and
invaluable art form. The evening featured an intimate performance by Los
Tigres Del Norte. |

The Los Tigres Del Norte
Foundation held its first ever fundraising event in West Hollywood, CA at
the legendary House of Blues. The evening included a VIP reception for
supporters, a sumptuous dinner and a very special and rare intimate
performance Los Tigres Del Norte. Attending the show were college students,
members of the business community, Ambassador Martha Lara from the Mexican
Embassy and keynote speaker California Lt. Governor Cruz Bustamante.
Presenting sponsor FAMSA
presented the Foundation with a check for $20,000 and the standing room only
crowd was treated to an incredible show of over 3 hours of the incomparable
Tigres music. |
